Pittsburgh, PA Oct. 2, 2010- The artwork of Sam Thorp showcased at Pittsburgh GLCC.

The GLCC is showcasing the artwork of local artist, Sam Thorp in the new downtown space. This new exhibition will feature paintings, drawing, and prints of wonderful arabesque line work in bright high-key colors. horp's powerful figurative acrylic paintings portray the interaction of muse and created work. Though the use of vibrant colors and arabesque outlines, she describes the moods and emotions created by the relationships between artwork and the people who inspire them.  The models/ muses are other local Pittsburghers and a Lesbian couple from France.
