Never a "Real" candidate?

I love our country and believe that there is no better. Just that around election time I always wonder "are there any real candidates?". I mean, I just don't like any of them. Hillary and Obama both just scare the dickens out of me. McCain and Huckabee just don't do it for me. Republican - Democrat - and even the Independant party can't seem to think for themselves! Just because my brother and friends like Barry Manalo does not mean that I have to just because I am in the same "click". Why can't we get an everyday American to run (and win) based on the views of the "real" people?

Ditto that. I'd like to see someone that isn't a politician be the next pres.   Our national security is at stake if Hill or Obama get in and there are tons of mindless voters out there that don't care.

If Obama wins the nomination, I fear he will beat McCain. If Hill wins , a lot of libs will vote for McCain because he's a lib.

Ron Paul is a good option, But afraid  of him on the war effort.

A John Doe reg guy  never has the money, the name recognition and the party support to make it far if anywhere.

Personally, I wanted Newt Gingrich in, or John Kasich, who is from the rocks, or both together would be great
