The civilian deaths are due to Saddam and his sons and henchmen killing thousands of their own with WMDs, torture of all kinds (too many to mention here), and the total lack of humanity from the late dictator of Iraq.

Now he's dead and the surge is a success and refugees are coming back home to Iraq. The housing boom in Baghdad is crazy, business, schools, hospitals are popping up everywhere. Almost every adult owns a cellphone and they DON"T want us to leave yet.  Damn that G.W.

They have more civilized elections than we do. Try to imagine living in Saddams Iraq for your whole life. No freedom to be, go & do whatever you want. No choices and no freedom to speak out about it.
