Scamming the Scammers

I have been running some ads for my friend at Canadhota Lake for cottages he has for rent.  I got many good replies and rentals, but the amount of scammers was surprising.  I decided to see how much i could lead them on and put them through hell trying to scam us.  The following is our email conversations.

are only coming to the place for our honeymoon vacation. We have
discussed  this and agreed to use your place from week of (Sept 4-11
till 10:30 AM), As of the cost we are alright but i will like you to
reconfirm the total cost for the week and get back us as well???
Consigning the payment,  My Wife's employers will be the one to
responsible for all our vacation expenses including your rent and they
have promised to send you a certified check for the rent as soon as
you have agreed to penned this down for us.... At this point, It's my
top pleasure to read back from you with total cost for the week along
with full information of your to proceed further and to facilitate the
mailing of the check such as:

Physical home street address,  not P.O.BOX,

State zip cod.

 I will be there waiting to read back from further??? Should be in

payment of pending the dates because my wife was so excited to hear
that i have make a little arrangement with you toward the date. So,

from her financial and said the payment was sent from them via FedEx
courier service in sum of $3,280.84 for your rent and some other
vacation expenses of our stay.  In fact, we really appreciate you for
your cordial response toward the progress of transaction and for the
payment you received.  Once you have confirmed the payment as
received, I will like you to proceed further with it and deduct
$489 for your rent as we both agreed and wire  the rest of the money
to our traveling agent in charge  using western union money transfer
information bellow:

Receiver's Name....  Jesse Clift
Address................ 1923 W Willow Knolls Dr
City....................... Peoria
State..................... IL
Zip Code................ 61603


 As soon as you have wire the rest of the money to our traveling
agent, You are required to get back to us immediately with the
following information:

rest money you are going to send,

Unit address to proceed with our flight papers.

Our Rental Agent, Heywood Jablome will be handling your transaction.
He said he received your check and wanted to know if you wanted to rent
the place for 8 weeks?  We give a discount for monthly rentals.  Your travel
agent sent enough for you to stay for 2 months.

Yes, I want you to proceed with western union right away and wire 2,500 to (Jesse Clift) the traveling agent so that he will be able to get all our flight papers ready today as he is going for another vacation this evening  and i want him to get all our flight papers ready before going to vacation this evening in order to save a time, so that we wouldn't have any further problem in future . I want to make him go to wester union as many times as i can.  I also keep asking him what boat he wants for the week.  He is feeling a sense of urgency to get my money.

 Thanks for your cordial response, I'm here to let you know that we
received the confirmation details but MTCN number was above the digit,
instead of 10 digit we found 11 digit.  So, check the western union
receipt now and to correct the MTCN number and it must be 10 digit OR
scan the western union receipt to me now so that i will be able to
forward it to the traveling agent now.

Eagerly waiting to read from you now.

or we can provide you and your bride a cash refund when you get here if
that is your pleasure.

I will be traveling to our resort so wont be checking email for a couple hours.

Alex, I am at the resort, and we do not have a scanner here.
We just got cable internet a few years ago.  I gave you the
Money Gram numbers and the password.  Can't you just go
there and collect the overpayment?

BTW, My reservation girl has been asking me what kind of boat
you would like for the week.  Do you enjoy sailing?  Are you a
fisherman?  Do you like to go fast??   We want you to have a
week to remember when your on your honeymoon here.

You can choose a fishing boat fully equipped, a catamaran
sailboat, or a Speedboat.  We want to reserve you best
pleasure choice. 

We are very grateful you Chose Canadhota Lake as your
resort of choice for your Honeymoon.  You wont be disappointed,
and you should have your traveling money.

Will you need to have our Limousine service pick you and the wife
up at the airport?  We will provide cheese of your choice and champagne
for the 30 to 40 min ride to your resort.  (depends on traffic)

Just wanted to touch base with you.  Did you finish the western Union refund?
We can scan and email the receipt on Monday when i get back to the office.
I need to deposit your check and other renters checks monday morning and
get caught up with some office work.   Do you have a fax line?  I may be able to have
a copy of the receipt faxed to you.

Please confirm you boat choice today, did you require a sail boat, fishing boat
or a speed boat.

Ok, Waiting to here back from Alex.... He has been trying to call me all weekend.. When i did answer his call Saturday, I told him Heywood works
in the office suite next door and somehow he got the wrong number mixed
up. 

If he writes back.... this will continue....

In the Mean time.... I have another scammer Mandy who will be raveling here from Australia and her company will be paying all her expenses... wonder how many times i can send her to western union with the wrong number...

Well, Alex finally gave up, he knows the time limit of when his check would bounce...
At least I cost him a UPS overnight shipping and bunches of trips to the Western Union!

Well Guess what... I got a Check today from Scammer 2!  Even Paid overnight Saturday Delivery!   See scammer 2 forum.
