Bowl
for Kids Sake is the Pittsburgh-region's largest charity bowling
event. A fun-filled day of bowling, games and excitement, BFKS truly
allows everyone in our community to make a difference in the lives of
at-risk youth. All money raised during the BFKS season goes directly to
the children in the one-to-one mentoring programs at Big Brothers Big
Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh.
Bowling for American Eagle's Direct IT team:

About the American Eagle Foundation support of Big Brothers Big Sisters...
Big Brothers Big Sisters
mission is to help children reach their potential through
professionally supported one-to-one relationships with measurable
impact. Our vision consists of successful mentoring relationships for
all children who need and want them contributing to better schools,
brighter futures, and stronger communities for all. Fortune Magazine
found that 88% of all Americans recognize our name and we were selected
in 2006 as one of "America's Greatest Brands" by the American Brands
Council. Big Brothers Big Sisters is a local market specialist serving
5,000 communities across America with a quarter of a million active
matches. Over our 104 year history, we have a vast alumni network of
caring community and business leaders who have experienced first hand
the power of what we do. We also are currently working with major
corporations who work closely with us in partnership and see the value
of successful mentoring. American Eagle Outfitters is one of those
corporations who understand and are the forefront of our partnerships.
In
2006, American Eagle launched a partnership with BBBS through our
signature fund raising event Bowl For Kids' Sake and corporate
volunteerism. Through Bowl for Kids' Sake American Eagle has raised
thousands of dollars that will enable BBBS to achieve sustainable
growth in serving more children.
Through
corporate volunteer ism American Eagle has provided exceptional match
support with some of their top employees. These volunteers are actively
engaged with their Littles and many have had a very positive
experience, both with the BBBS program and with their Littles
themselves.
