The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix car show at The Water Works Mall
complex was a hugh success on Wednesday night.
The anticipated crowd of 500 cars turned into nearly 1000 as the
weather was perfect for a weekday car cruise. Each participant donated
$5 to show their car, listen to great music by the Street Level Band,
eat with the Street Venders or the local eating establishments, shop
the local stores and enjoy looking at the cars. There was a strong
showing of 'Mussel' Cars, as well as new and old MINIs, 50's Chevy,
Fords, Fiats, Alpha's, Buick's,corvette's, as well as hot rods,
Maserati, Ferrari's, as well as a Lamberguini. The MINI 'grille' car
did it part as it cooked hot dogs and marshmallows. It was a good opportunity to help raise money for the local
Charities, show off your wheels and take pictures of the local show
cars.
