Le Plus Exquis Diamond Gala Hosted by The Honorable John Pippy and Mrs Kathy PippyIn Honor of Dolores BoldSenator and Mrs. John and Kathy Pippy hosted Le Plus Exquis ~ Diamond Gala in Honor of Dolores Bold. This black-tie optional affair, emceed by KDKA TV's Brenda Waters, celebrated the exquisite beauty of the diamond and all of the glamor that encompasses such a perfect gem. Guests arrived on red carpet and were greeted by photographers and onlookers. Once entering the elegant and enchanting Pittsburgh Athletic Association, guests were dazzled by Pittsburgh's finest jewelers displaying an array of precious, sparkling gems to gaze upon, try on, or purchase. The highlights of the evening were: ♦ A decadent menu of heavy hors d'oeuvres, prepared by the PAA, and complimentary wine and White Diamond Vodka specialty drinks were served from 6-8:00 p.m. ♦ Delightful desserts created by well-known Executive Pastry Chef, Kelly James. ♦ Tribute to Honoree, Dolores Bold, a life-long member of the Pittsburgh Athletic Association, who inspires us with her great acts of community service and charitable giving for the causes that she holds dear. ♦ Diamonds & Designer Fashion Show featuring Clark Building Jewelers, Brett James Salon, and Sugar Boutique. ♦ A Champagne & Diamonds Raffle which created plenty of excitement throughout the room as diamonds valued at thousands of dollars are won by several fortunate guests. ♦ An extraordinary silent auction offered the chance to take home beautiful jewelry at special pricing for the holidays.Throughout the evening, guests may choose to peruse the dazzling jewelry displays and other vendors including Beijo Handbags, Brilliant Nuevo Diamonds, Brooks Diamonds, Frost & Co., Schiffman's Jewelers, Inc., Sammar Accessories, and Toffee Taboo. Guests could take a chance at winning beautiful diamond jewelry at the Champagne & Diamonds Raffle table, bid on silent auction items, or dance the night away with Pittsburgh Piano Man - Mark Venneri. Expect to feel over-indulged by evening's end....but leave knowing you are worth it because your involvement will help Cribs for Kids® save babies' lives throughout Pennsylvania!
