For Decades, Tony Janflone Jr has been performing in numerous venues & for numerous audiences. Music has been his life, his passion and the way he supported himself and his family. This year, Tony had his appendix taken out. His medical insurance left him with a huge bill. Shortly after that, he was in an auto accident with his wife. The accident caused 3 herniated discs in his neck, and a new set of bills. Performing as he has done for the last 3 decades, has become difficult and painful. January 1st, he stopped performing to get his health back. Over the years, he has given his time and talent to help others in their time of need. After seeing his sell a guitar to pay for his medical bills, friends of his stepped up and said, "We Want to Help." Artists that were contacted quickly gave their support. As friends of Tony Janflone Jr., we are honored to be able able to help.
How it all went down....
The evening's Agenda was Hosted by 102.5 WDVE's Sean McDowell.
First on was a great performance by the Skip Peck Band.
Followed by a short intermission with a "Magical" performance by Howard Mincone.
Then on came the legendary Billy Price, who blew the crowd away with a fantastic performance.
Next, there was an auction of a one of a kind TJF Custom Guitar
After the auction came Rick Rick Witkowski's All Stars backing BE Taylor, Rob James and Donnie Iris. When this group gets together, know as the Pittsburgh All Stars, you know your going to have a great time! And tonight was no exception. The standing room only Rhythm House Was Rocking!
