Cranberry Rotary Amphitheatre, located in the Cranberry Township Community Park Friday, August 22, 2008 at 7:00 PM
Octet
Aesthetically elegant and intentionally sleek, the dancing and dancers radiate a spareness synonymous with essentials.
Known by Heart ("Junk") Duet
Tharp takes the formal structure of the classical duet into a contemporary realm through the witty, fierce, sometimes combative and always surprising relationship she creates between the partners.
Raymonda Variations
Staged by PBT Artistic Director, Terrence S. Orr, with choreography after Marius Petipa, Raymonda Variations features nine couples and is set to Alexander Glazounov’s classic score.
*The Hartwood Acres performance is part of the Allegheny County Summer Concert Series. * The Cranberrry Rotary Amphitheatre performance is sponsored by Cranberry Township and the Department of Parks and Recreation and is supported in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts.
