Red Shoe Ball/Celebrate The Night In Black And White

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Pittsburgh’s Red Shoe Ball and Celebrate the Night in Black and White were held at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown Hotel on November 4th, 2017. The event, where attendees wear black and white attire (attire that guests were encouraged to wear), had cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction., a formal dinner live entertainment by Pittsburgh’s own NO BAD JUJU and a VIP after party—which included additional entertainment, beverages and snacks.

Also at this event, a special presentation was made to the family of 2017 Giving Heart Awardee: the-late Michael “Jim” Delligatti. Igniting decades of support advocacy and influence, MJ Delligatti—the-late Western Pennsylvania native who was known as the man who created McDonald’s “Big Mac” sandwich—was invaluable in creating the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Pittsburgh beginning in 1977. Staying active in the charity until his passing in November 2016, MJ’s legacy lives on in the thousands of lives impacted by the charity’s mission and services.
