"In the Making: 250 Years/250 Artists" Fe Gallery
In the Making, 250 years, 250 Artists
On Sept 12th, 2008 throngs of artists and art aficionados celebrated the opening of "In the Making: 250 Years/250 Artists" at Fe Gallery." In the Making", which was juried by a panel of 5 curators, is a monumental salon-style visual art exhibition celebrating Pittsburgh's 250th anniversary with artwork by 250 Pittsburgh area artists., located at 4102 Butler Street, in Lawrenceville.
The overflow crowd of 500 +++ (possibly 1000!) spilled out of the gallery. Seen at the event were Donald Doherty, Anthony Navarro, Tonya Caruso, Teresa Sherry, Paula Klein, Jon Anderson, Rise Nagin, John Morris, Delanie Jenkins, Anderson English, Karen Antonelli, John Eastman, Barbara Weissberger, Tim Fabian, Joseph Shepler, and many many more!
The exhibition will run for 4 months, closing on January 10, 2009. Fe gallery is located at 4102 Butler Street, in Lawrenceville.
A catalog of the exhibit, which can be pre-ordered, will be available. The catalog release party at Fe will be on Oct. 18th.
