GASP's annual fund raiser was held on Saturday September 27, 2008 in the Chapel Pavilion (Riverview park). In spite of the rain a good time was had by all. A puppet show performance for the children was followed by live acoustic folk music.
Food provided was quite eclectic, all dishes were on the healthy side and tasty (often healthy and good are not on the same plate)(the food was good). Also there for the public's entertainment were several residents from the Wildlife Center-Animal Rescue League of Western Pennsylvania, and Representatives of WYEP/the Allegheny Front.
