The Madcap Masquerade 2008The Madcap Masquerade, presented by UPMC Health Plan, is a costume or black-tie event to benefit the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy. This year's event was held at Schenley Plaza on October 25, 2008. The event took place in heated, clear-sided tents with the Pittsburgh 250 Festival of Lights as a stunning backdrop.
On October 25, Schenley Plaza hosted the zaniest, mostcolorful, most entertaining party of the year–and surrounding all the psychics, salsa dancing, costumes, and haute couture will be the Pittsburgh 250 Festival of Lights illuminating the scene.

It is all said and done now! Carousel Couture was a great success, and if you were lucky enough to have seen it, you know what I am talking about. The gowns were absolutely spectacular this year. I know I may be a little biased, but I was so impressed by the amount of detail,creativity and care that was put into each garment. Thank you designers for really making this the best show yet!Of course, the gowns would not have looked nearly as beautiful without our 17 stunning localmodels provided by Docherty Model and Talent Agency, the Talent Group,and independent models provided by some of their own designers. Thankyou girls for being so easy to work with and being so beautiful!Atevery fashion show I've even been to the music is a key part of theaudience's experience. This year we had amazingly helpful peopleworking on the music to ensure it all went as planned.
