The
Diamond Gala was a red carpet, black-tie optional affair that
celebrated the exquisite beauty of the diamond and all of the glamor
that encompasses such a perfect gem.
Once
Entering the elegant and enchanting Pittsburgh Athletic Association,
guests were dazzled by Pittsburgh's finest jewelry vendors
displaying an array of precious, sparkling gems to gaze upon, try on,
or purchase. The highlight of the evening was the Chick Clothing
Boutique and Diamond Fashion Show, which featured local
dignitaries, event sponsors and local sports celebrities and their
wives. The Champagne & Diamonds Raffle created
plenty of Excitement throughout the room, as diamonds valued at
thousands of dollars ere won by several fortunate guests! And for your
holiday shopping, there was an extraordinary silent
auction.
A delectable
menu of heavy hors d"oeuvres, prepaired by the PAA, was served with
a complimentary bar, White Diamond Vodka specialties, and decadent
desserts created by Sonoma Grille Pastry Chef, Kelly James. After the
designer fashion show, the lights went down! Guests may continued to
peruse the jewelry displays, visited the Champagne & Diamonds table,
bid on silent auctions, and danced the night away!
Evewryone felt over-indulged by evenings end....but left knowing they were
worth it because their involvement helps Cribs for Kids save babies"
lives throughout Pennsylvania!
