Fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Anti Valentines show
The 12th Annual Anti-Valentines Day Fashion Show benefiting Cystic Fibrosis This year's event was better than any other before with new people on board and ready to show off what this event really can do for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
This event will took place on Friday, February 13th 2009 @ Zen Social Club, station square. This event benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, as ALL proceeds from the show are donated directly to the foundation.
For those of you that are unaware, cystic fibrosis is a disease that affects the digestive system and lungs of 30,000 people in the U.S alone. This disease is inherited from carriers of a defective gene, therefore it afflicts mostly children. With advancements that have been made due to an increase in fundraising from people like us, many of the of these children are living into adulthood. Our goal is to raise enough funds to eliminate this disease entirely but we need YOUR help to reach that goal.
