Turkey Day

Today was a day for the art of food. Dinner included fresh baked rolls from scratch:
2 c. bread flour 1 Tbsp sugar 1/2 tsp salt 3 TBsp butter 1 egg 1 package yeast 1/4 c warm water 1/4 c warm milk scalded
Measure all dry ingredients, mix well. In a separate bowl, add yeast to warm water and let stand until frothy. Scald milk, add butter to melt and beaten egg. Cool until lukewarm. Pour into yeast mixture. Beat until smooth. Add dry ingredients into yeast mixture. Mix... Read More
