The word is already out that Baba D's food is delish! And even before they moved from Oakland to the South Side, I was eating it straight from Ummi's kitchen. But what people don't realize... and I can tell by the looks on their faces and the comments I hear... is that on Friday nights this Middle Eastern restaurant turns into one of the hippest social partying spots in the city and especially for the South Side, where most places are overpriced and overcrowded.
