On Sunday, December 26th, 2010, I had the great honor of being a fan photographer for the first ever Harlem Globetrotters shows at the new CONSOL Energy Center. And also on that day, I had my very first encounter with beloved Pittsburgh food and beverage vendor, Kenny Geidel. Here is footage of my encounter with Mr. Geidel, who was selling Cotton Candy at CONSOL Energy Center that day, from my cell phone. On a very sad note, that encounter I had with Mr. Geidel would be my only encounter with Mr. Geidel, the beloved vendor that became well-known at Pirate game at PNC Park, special events, Steeler and Pitt Panther football games at Heinz Field and special events and Penguin game at both the Civic/Mellon Arena, and CONSOL Energy Center by calling our food and drink items by saying; "HEEEEERRRE!!" at the end of calling out the certain food or drink item he sold at that event. On May 11th, 2011, Mr. Geidel went home to be with the Lord (passed away) Rest in peace Kenny, we'll miss you around heeeeere!!!!!
